Bonefish,
Libs don't remember Clinton fired between 273k and 400k federal workers.
No he didn't. You're repeating right-wing disinformation.

Fact check: Did Clinton set the precedent for mass federal worker buyouts? (Al Jazeera)

a) Clinton didn't "fire" anyone. He requested a gradual reduction of the workforce through either attrition (i.e. hiring freezes) or "early out programs."

b) Clinton worked with Congress on the plan and got bipartisan support (391-17 in the House, 99-1 in the Senate).

c) It's unclear exactly how much the federal workforce was reduced overall, but the 273K figure was a target set in 1993 and aimed toward 1999.

d) Clinton didn't have a literal Nazi headed by a hand-picked group of Kidlers doing the dirty work for him.

In short, Clinton used a scalpel to cut the fat. Trump is using a wrecking ball.

Not the same, except to the MAGA sycophants who justify everything with "whataboutisms."
