The second to last nail in Rambus' coffin.

So what's going to be the last nail?

At introduction RDRAM had some amazing benefits, but no processor could really take advantage of it. In the interim, DDR came along and developed rapidly. Now with the P4 moving to DDR, it looks like DDR is finally going to be mainstream (far more than RDRAM ever was).

I honestly think RDRAM squandered its chances in the memory market, and I don't think PC1066 RDRAM is going to be enough to make the diving catch.
