I am liberal in two respects and that's it. I have always supported universal healthcare, socialized medicine or Medicare for all. I always felt no one should be denied medical coverage and full treatment if they cannot afford it. And what is offered in emergency rooms is not sufficient in most instances. Secondly, I support free public college tuition for all children of families earning under 125K per year. That is the NYS plan. In Nevada, community college is free and the State Legislature, which is primarily Democratic, is looking to extend that for 4 years.

I am in the camp of giving everyone an opportunity to succeed in life. If you don't take advantage of your opportunity, then suffer the consequences. Go in the Army, Navy or Marines and learn accountability.

Now the Democrats have never been able to get their act together in regard to universal healthcare and most States don't have a free college option for lower middle income and working class that is slightly above the welfare line.

So, in the end, the Democrats are really not liberal at all.

When I look at the issues on a case by case basis, Trump is certainly perfect, but his policies are much more superior than the DNC.
