Heh... even if I could get the chip enabled, I'd still need the O/S to recognize the SMT. For good or ill, I go with Windows version "whatever seems the most stable with enough drivers" when I build a system...

I'll probably slap a Geforce 3 of some flavor in with a SB Audigy system, couple of hard drives, DVD, CD-RW... Should be a rockin' system. Last time I built one was my P2 350. My wife's still using it... works great. Only problem I had was when I installed a game that used an unstable DirectX version (5.02a or something if memory serves, it's been ages ago).
