Vid card... I should have noted I have moved this card from one PCI slot to another with no positive result. I believe my problem is in the monitor. It's getting up there in years. The CD rom is not showing up in device manager. The computer is not recognizing it at all. I think I will take mr. marks suggestion and go for a new one. I looked at tc's site and the amount of information was overwhelming to me. Besides... for 20 bucks I get to tear into my machine! ht Mag
