The British tend to pick really simple solutions to problems. Until the recent spate of train wrecks it seemed to work. Oh sure, the trains were all late and often cancelled, but they have a catalog of dumb excuses there for everything. Until the wrecks that is.

The same for the NHS. Until people started noticing rising mortality rates. Breast cancer is a death sentence there.
