That's the process of Virtuous Victorian Values in action. China scoring big points in winning the hearts and minds of the world, US benched.
After 34 years of investing in USA I'm all out. I had lost trust and tax issues in NZ also made it untenable. China hasn't won my heart and mind but I don't see them as an enemy. People veer towards VVV people and countries and systems.
China is more like England in the VVV times of the 19th century. Christian based, science and technology and private property and inventiveness, industry and economics, albeit with military force to enforce VVV rules. Contrary to common beliefs now, it was a voluntary association.
I'm with Rudyard Kipling.
But China has a weakness = suppression of individuals and businesses as mere chattels of the state, simple production units, rather than the Ayn Rand and Mq thinking of them as the self-determining units of reality. USA for all its mess, retains that great strength.
Swarms of people still flood into USA, Canada, UK, Eurostan, Australia, NZ as the best places. They are still the VVV champions despite their relative decline.
Singapore and Hong Kong have been the best exemplars of VVVs in recent decades. Japan too. Switzerland remains one of the best.
Now that Trump, DOGE and co are in charge, USA has perhaps entered the best time ever. Maybe Americans will dump their bad old ways and get with the programme. I did think that US$ was far too valuable as a royalty stream to let it turn to Zimbabwe money. If DOGE can get USA back on financial track and dilution reduced to 1% or 2%, then US$ could go great again.
The basics of USA remain very good. Now with a new lease on life. I've stopped panicking about incipient nuclear war which the MAD Biden CIA NSA corrupt psychopathocratic state was charging towards. Nuland, Peace Prize Obama and co-conspirators sent us off down that track with their conquest of Ukraine. Russia said nyet and since it was toughest gang wins, they sensibly took over the east and Crimea.
Russia should have been joined into Eurostan, not forced into the possession of China which immediately moved their western border all the way back to Genghis Khan's greatest western extent. Sure, Russia remains nominally independent of China, but 1.3 billion economically successful people vs 0.15 billion Russians is overbearing. By bringing Russia into Eurostan/USA, the eastern border could have been moved all the way to the Great Wall of China. North Koreans wouldn't be getting live fire training over by Eurostan.
Amazingly, nearly half of Americans still suffer TDS mental illness. They still credulously watch CNN, MSNBC NYTimes Washington Post etc and think they are getting news. One would think they'd learn after decades of being defrauded - WMDs, male child prostitutes in Moscow [about 30 years ago in Time magazine which to me was laughable when it was published - they admitted they'd been scammed months later]. They still believe the climate model scams.
Meanwhile, my 30 year plan for It aka AI continues to accelerate towards the singularity which is when the billion year teleological process from wet chemistry DNA to solid state physics sentience goes critical and lifts off. That's going to make changes. Actually, it's a 50 year process from when I didn't believe computering couldn't beat people at chess. It's over quarter of a century since Gary Kasparov went off stage waving his arms in dismay after being skooshed by Deep Blue. Go no longer has a human champion.
