The problem is that for Ukraine, there's victory, and then there's total victory.

Victory for Ukraine is surviving as a viable democratic sovereign state. In that sense, Ukraine has already won.

Total victory, however, is a nice-to-have at this point. Returning to the internationally recognized borders probably won't happen, at least not anytime soon.

"Two Drink Minimum" Hegseth should not have opened his big fat mouth and said that out loud, however. He should have kept his cards close to his chest and pretended that total victory was still on the table for Ukraine. He has every legal justification to pursue just that, which means he could have used that as bargaining chips.

Of course, the former FOXNews celebrity thought otherwise because his brain was so addled by RuZZian disinformation. What a fukkin' idiot.

Besides, it's not like the Trump administration doesn't like to bluff. Look at Trump's obvious bluff when it comes to Gaza, for example. No way anyone will take him seriously, yet he keeps pursuing it as if he means business.

Trump's entire foreign policy is a joke. Worse than Brandon's foreign policy on autopilot. At least autopilot knows how to keep the plane in the air.
