scarecrow, thanks ... and if I may add, the 12/28 "date of record" is in reference to the total number of shares CMGI has outstanding (if CMGI issues new shares before that date, then they are included in the split... and if after that date, then they are not included in the split)... that date has nothing to do with when an individual investor buys his / her shares... one can buy up to 1/10/2000 and still qualify for the split... I think many people still miss this point... thanks again, and best regards amein alsuezi
