A kid with a crayon using trend alone can not fail. It is the trust and discipline to follow that system and to not be stubborn that is the hard part. The trend is always right Couldn't agree more, spotting the trend is definitely one of the ways TA is useful. It's when too must "trust" is given to counting those "waves" or using "cyclical" time factors in predicting short term market moves... Look we differ in our analysis of the markets, I respect that and if it's working for you that's great. It is actually when one lets FA cloud the issue that one is really screwed Agreed again, the best approach is a balance between the two.
