The spirits and whales may be excited ... but what do they truly know? What is their track record? None. The stock does have a track record of popping ahead of news. That was the pattern during Rimu drilling. The Kauri stock pattern is the opposite. Those tea leaves, I think I know how to read. The signals from the spirits and whales ... well, I remain skeptical and puzzled. If the Kauri well is such a winner, the news should leak out very soon. It is impossible to withhold such info with so many parties closely involved. And so far, Kauri has not phoned home, to the delight of bashers and shorts. fp
