I wanted to mention the "secret sauce" in my options strategy. Since I work outside, and am often welding, on days it rains I come home. Have to take advantage of what the weatherman gives me! Today it rained around noon in Chicago and I didn't stick around to see if it would clear up. So, in the last hour today I sold 9 contracts for a total of $3300, 5 CREE, 2 TQNT, and 2 HLIT, all 4-6 months out and somewhat OTM. Total of 15 contracts out, 1 expires this week, 1 in Jan 03, and the other 13 in the 4-6 month range. All at strikes above cost. No put sales yet.

In doing this I am hopeing to buy most of it back within a month for less than half. Now it's just got to rain on a day the market tanks.
