I do reboot after configuring msconfig and there is nothing in the Systray so I hope it is off. I just checked and I do not have the same dialog that your version has. I had to go to the help screen and it tells you to disable Auto Protect by right clicking on the icon in the tray and choosing disable.

Someone else mentioned being sure I was offline. I use a dial up connection and was not connected at the time but thanks because that is the kind of dumb thing I figure I did.

I will try to use Dos and let you know what happens. Thank you all!
