Sun is in a product transition mode. They had to cut down on their profit margins because of compettition and also because of pushing the old stuff out the door. But I advise strongly (and believe me I almost never do this unless I feel comfortable deep in my heart with my advise) to buy SUNW if it goes down.. In the UNLIKELYHOOD event that SUNW goes down tomorrow dont buy it yet. Give it a day for things to settle down. So maybe you might want to wait till next Monday. Because if it goes down tomorrow, it will come back the next day (due to short covering) till it finds a base starting late Friday. And then on Monday go ahead and buy as many shares as you can. That would be the opportunity of a life time. In the very likelyhood that SUNW goes UP tomorrow, BUY on any dip during the day. That will also be a great opportunity to buy these high quality shares. Today, though, I will not buy because the price movement is based mostly on speculation of the earnings rather than facts. A good chunk of my cash is sitting in my brokerage money market account to be exchanged with SUNW either tomorrow if the earning is great or next Monday if naive investors dump their shares because of a temporary bump in the earnings. Anyway, this is just my humble opinion in having a strategy as far as SUNW shares are concerned. I will be in a conference through end of this week in Redmond and unfortunately I wont have access to internet as much as I want to!
