One method for printing ProTA chartsuites. I like to document my trades and analysis. ProTA and Apple have several features that accommodate this. I use Shift+Option+Command+4 to take a screenshot of an open chartsuite. "Option" removes the grey border that is the default for the screenshot (no need to print that, wastes ink). I can either upload the screenshot to Preview, or I can click on the thumbnail that briefly appears in the lower right when I capture the screenshot. When I select the thumbnail, I open a the screenshot in an editing window. I can annotate with text or other edit option. I resize the screenshot so that it will fill the entire printed page. Grab the right edge of the screenshot and resize it to the left. You can look at the print preview to see when you have got the resize right.

I also set the printer for draft. I can't tell any difference between a print using draft, normal, or quality, but it prints faster when draft is selected. I can't tell if less ink is used. Perhaps you know how to measure that.
