Have you ever managed an NT network and the headache with its domain concept? If Microsoft is successfully managing without directory services why are they spending so much effort in coming up with their own directory services? Microsoft with its marketing muscle would have easily convinced the world that ther is no need for directory services if it is really true. CA's Unicenter and Tivoli's products are totally different than what NDS does. So that is not fair comparsion.
