Actually, I had thought of PMing you along those lines but wasn't sure when we would get in from Letchworth on Friday, or whether I was going to overnight Friday in London or Cambridge.

That would be cool and appreciated ... particularly on GPRS models as they arrive.

If you happen to hear of the Nokia 8310 actually being in stock anywhere in UK would like to hear. Same for the Ericsson T65 and the Nokia 6310 when they hit the shelves.

Meantime ... in my previous posts I made 3 mistakes on prices I referenced. Corrected pricing (bolded) as follows.

On this visit there were 4 models from 4 manufacturers on display and in stock:

- Ericsson T39 GPRS/Bluetooth                £89.99

- Motorola     T260 GPRS                     £99.99

- Siemens      S45 GPRS                      £99.99 

- Mitsubishi   Trium Mondo GPRS/Pocket PC    £399.99


All prices above were with a BT Cellnet contract. Price on the Ericsson T39 without a contract is £269.99. Exchange rate was USD$1.47

Also just noticed: Nokia 8310 can be preordered at £149.99 by calling the Link in London by phone.
