Common outcome is the last generation in power loots the treasury, sticks it to the elderly, and often the gov't morphs into authoritarianism.

That's what the Democrats were on the verge of completing before Trump upset their plans in 2016. They were looting the treasury and they nearly achieved totalitarian control of our words and thoughts.

But one thing is backwards - the last half century has been the elderly (Baby Boomers) sticking it to the younger generations. They inherited a healthy, stable society, but they're leaving their grandchildren with an empty shell of a country burdened with a mountain of debt.

Boomers are like the corporate raiders of society.
