Hi Leigh, my take on the article that you posted is simple. Investing in high tech is risky. <VBG> I am not surprised that reports on Win2k possible problems are now coming out. I don't know if they are true or not. However, it's not uncommon for new software to have some problems. That's why I like to wait awhile before I load new software on my pc. Dell backing Linux is bad PR for Msft. However, Msft is fully aware of the threat offered by Linux. Is this a problem for Msft in the long run? I really don't know, but I doubt it. If it weren't for the antitrust case, I suspect Msft would buy Linux. However, since it's open s/w, it may be hard for Msft to buy the company and kill the product. I just don't know how this will all work out. Larry
