Hardly a compelling argument you make here.

I've been using Macs since 1985, and have owned them since 1986. (At the time, I also had an IBM PC, Windows, and Microsoft Word.)

Today, I use two main Macs, a G4 desktop and a G3 iBook. I expect to be buying a Titanium Powerbook in the near future.

Mac vs. PC religious flamewars are even less useful than AMD vs. Intel religious flamewars, so I won't list the reasons I like Macs here in this forum.

But your "self-styled beatniks" argument is unconvincing.
