Measure twice, cut once.

I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this...the number of NT shares deliverable for each BCQ option is 157. Forget everything else I said. And for some unknown reason the ME decided to list BCE tomorrow, not today as every one of us expected. As an old friend of mine used to say, don't assume anything but a 4% mortgage.

In all this did any notice the nice little rally ABX has put on? Call sellers have redoubled their efforts, driving the IV down to the high 30's from 44. Everyone loves to try to pick a top in Barrick, but today's sellers have a way of becoming tomorrow's buyers.

The techies at the ME assure me that the Quoter will be able to calculate BCQ options correctly, so we can avoid today's fiasco of being in a fast market all day. It's tough enough trying now to trade two stocks simultaneously without always having to input the underlying bid/ask to try to keep the quotes representative.

Happy trading.
