As most of the time... Jim is right on the button. I have been around
here for a while and a while back I lost some money on Novell, and was
looking forward to getting back in sometime. I've decided now both in my professional career and stock picks that Novell is not the way to go. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Novell biggot.. I believe they have the best product on the marketplace, and I've dedicated a lot of time to my CNA and CNE. I have decided to pursue my MCSE instead of my Master CNE. The company I work for has just partnered with Microsoft, and in about 3 years we will be a microsoft shop. This is what is happening everywhere, and it took me a while to admit to it. We are currently running 4.11 and it is in my opinion the best NOS around, but I'm biased, because I focused on Netware, and ignored other products out there (kinda sounds like what they did at the company, eh?).

The best product does not always win as has been seen in the history of the computer industry... We should all be using CPM version 10.2 or
Xerox 95 if that were the case, but it is not.

I was hanging on to the hope that they could be another comeback kid, like IBM, but I am now coming to terms that this is not going to be the case. Don't take offense to what I am saying, I certainly am not bashing Novell, just speaking the truth as I now see it.
