Intel owns 23% of the RSYS stock. Almost as much as the owners, Tecktronix. Lots of shareholders in companies in which Intel has a stake seem to find some sort of comfort from it. Intel has so much free cash flow, it has to invest somewhere. Intel invests in lots of Tech stocks, winners and losers.
Maybe adding fuel to the "Son of Intel" fire is because much of the company's management used to work for Intel.
