Glenn another thing which we should put more thought into is the FCC limitation of the signal strength.

USR had to reduce the power to meet FCC regulations as we know. Thus we're told we can only receive 53K instead of 56K under ideal conditions. As I understand it, this is achieved by code (software/firmware), and can be changed later via a download. With this in mind.just how much is the x2 code limiting the ability to get more download speed? What improvement will we see when full power is kicked in?
