"To address certain misconceptions circulating on social media, I would like to clarify that I am a Vermont dairy farmer whose family has been in business for generations and hopes to continue for generations to come. Recently, I was approached by news media sources and asked to share my perspective on various topics related to dairy farming. Although I was initially hesitant, I agreed to participate, as I believed it was essential for a farmer's voice to be heard, providing accurate information and dispelling misconceptions. I stand by my statements made during the interview. However, since then, political organizations with which I am not affiliated or aligned have taken an old picture and quoted me as saying things I did not say. These organizations are promoting an agenda that is entirely inaccurate. I am not concerned about the misinformation circulating, but I wanted to post this to defend my character and ensure that anyone reading this understands the situation. I simply wanted to clear the air, and I did not anticipate that speaking from a farmer's perspective would unfold in this manner."
