Forty (40) Years of Dem rule of all three (3) branches of Government, made the wild-eyed branch of the Dems think it would continue forever, and who was Bush to stop them from coming back to power. ??? After all, they had invented the verbage that Bush 43 was dumb, couldn't do anything except sleep, was just a rich playboy, etc.
But, really, if SI carries an example of the looney left, all we have to do is look back to 1999....the drum roll against Bush started before the election by quite a bit.
So the "cycle of hatred" you are discussing is not really true. When the Republicans were in the minority, they went along with the Dems. Now, the Dems can't stand the thought of having to go along with the Republicans. What we really have, finally, is a real two party system. The Dems never had to face this before, and they can't stand it. |
