I understand how they look at things. If you understand how "they" look at things, you would realize that now way would they find greatness in Bush and be upset about it. If they found anything that could possibly be construed as greatness, it would be interpreted as him having lucked into it or as it having been spun that way after the fact. But they are now faced with the fact that their POV is a proven failure. It may be the case that that is a trigger for the Bush hatred. Their finding greatness in him is a risible explanation for it. Only a devout Bush partisan could imagine that explanation.
