I spent my youth in Westchester County, NY. It was like that when Johnson beat Goldwater.

Also they never stopped talking about the Rosenberg's and what a miscarriage of justice it had been.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a Republican until I was in my late teens. It never occurred to me to vote for anything but a demo until Carter came along. After him, I was desperate to vote for the opposition party.

Thank God for Regan. He was the beginning of the realignment of the country.
