Guess he skipped the class where they covered JC having died 2000 years back.

But the word is that that was a temporary condition lasting only 3 days and that he otherwise lives forever, so maybe your concern about Bush is not valid on that point. I think that Bush may give you 1 or 2 other areas of concern though.
