It is not a miracle, the miracle (and not in a good way) is that the economy has fallen this far this fast. Could you have imagined car companies losing up to half their sales in a year? It is stunning.

Did you protest against the $3 TRILLION ($900 billion as of last year IIRC) promised to decimate and then rebuild Iraq? Did we adopt Iraq?

We have tried tax cuts. If they had worked we would not be in this ridiculous position of staring down 10% unemployment or real structural damage to our banking system which might actually be insolvent. If tax cuts to the ultrarich, outsourcing of jobs, starting wars for ExxonMobil had worked, we would not be in this position.

You have a better idea? If you do then defend it.
