I have certain people on ignore, but I still read their posts once in a while to see if I should continue placing them on ignore or take them off.

And btw, I don't put someone on ignore necessarily because I disagree with their take on things, but primarily due to the insulting nature of their posts, such as calling someone stupid or dopey. Also, if someone is just parroting or regurgitating the standard party line, I will put them on ignore since there is nothing for me to gain from reading them and that applies to Republicans and Democrats alike.
