I'm glad Bush is not your "hero". Kerry is not my "hero" either, as you guessed. Apparently you and I have considered their respective pluses and minuses and arrived at our decisions to support either Bush or Kerry based on much contemplation and rational thought. That's good. I respect you for that.

You know how I feel about the polls - only one counts - but I want to point out that not all polls support your assertation that the "post debate polls continue to give Bush the lead":

Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kerry regained his lead in a Newsweek poll over U.S. President George W. Bush following their Sept. 30 debate.

Kerry, led Bush 49 percent to 46 percent, if voters were not allowed to consider independent candidate Ralph Nader as an option, Newsweek said in a release.

In a three-way race with Nader, the poll gave the Democratic ticket 47 percent support, compared with Bush-Cheney's 45 percent and Nader's 2 percent.

The fact that post debate polls continue to give Bush the lead speaks volumes about Kerry's lack of qualifications for the job.
