We both like classic movies....30's, 40's and 50's...and early 60's. The appearances of both men and women were considerably different and much more attractive than present. TOday, we all look like we steped out of the GAP, or else the ragbag...Take a look at Vogue Magazine....What the "Elite" wear....Looks like it's been slept in, stomped on, colored with glitter and paint, and then has a HUGE price tag on ....
For the guys, it's macho to be unshaven, shirt tail hanging out, rumpled, and generally look slovenly. Again, what the "Elite" think looks terrific.
