I couldn't get it to work yet. I have trouble sometimes because of being in Australia.

Going back to cutting and pasting. Maybe it's obvious, but you can run many browsers at the same time. To open an additional browser, click the "e" for explorer on your task bar.

Then, if we assume you have a browser open to the "responding" here on SI. And, you have another browser open to the url you want to copy.

Highlight the address(it becomes entirly blue) then do a copy command. I do a copy using the ctrl and "c" keys, but you can also do it from the tool bar menu under edit. The item you want to copy must be highlighted in blue for the copy command to be activated.

Then, position your cursor to the place you want the url pasted to and either go to the edit menu, or use ctrl "v" to paste. Sometimes a url is very long, and SI truncates it to a smaller size, but it is still active.
