CBS News' Roberts calls Alito Nomination "sloppy seconds"

By Tammy Bruce on Mainstream Media

Register your protest to CBS after their Chief White House correspondent John Roberts asked Scott McClellan if Samuel Alito was "sloppy seconds" after the Miers nomination. Whether or not you like Judge Alito doesn't matter. For a reporter to use such misogynist and sexist terminology is an outrage. Of course the feminist establishment will say nothing because they're hypocrites, but you're not so the action falls to you. (HT Drudge)

Contact CBS by phone or through their Feedback form to register your disgust with this outrageous comment.

The CBS feedback phone number is 212-975-3247 or go to:

Whichever mode you use, remember to be polite but direct. Interestingly, because of the outrage that has already reached CBS, Roberts has apologized to McClellan for his "poor choice of words," but that's really not enough. He should also apologize to Judge Alito, the president, and women in general. Frankly, at the very least, CBS should suspend Roberts from White House coverage for a period of time. If CBS were a decent entity (and we know by now after everything that has happened Viacom is not driven by doing what's right), they would fire him.
