Hi KLP,

thanks for your comments. Internet will change our lives. Not so much in the short turn, but much more than we think in the long turn. Remember that the 5 days - 40 hours workweek is an invention of the industrial revolution. Before people worked as they needed and danced and painted themselves the rest of the year (or were involved in wars, another off-time activity). If you sum the production time of all appliances you need in a year, this adds only one or two months of work. Add one of two months of services. In theory, we should be working only four months a year. Actually it is spread out over 12 months, so that is fills up our whole live. People are paid mainly based on presence, not on results.

100 years ago more than 50% of population worked in agriculture. Now it is less than 2% and production is much higher.
40 years ago more than 50% of population worked in industry. Now it is less than 15% and production is much higher.
10 years ago more than 50% of population worked in services. Ask your broker what he thinks of E-trade. His job will be replaced by a browser.

If you all have 2 cars, 2 houses, 4 tv-sets, your next wish will be travel. There is so much to see on our globe. Meet you there.

Regards,
Pareto
