BANIAS is a complete redo of the x86 implementation (same x86 architecture) designed to have very low power dissipation and very high IPC (Instructions Per Clock) - and not necessarily high GHz. When it comes out, you will hear the AMDroids yelping and whining - when Intel shows them that - for BANIAS - MHZ DOES NOT COUNT !! Paul
