this global warming shit is easy. On the coldest days predict warming. On the hottest days remind people that you said it was going to get hot. And of course, most people have the memory of a goldfish so they don't remember last summer's heat wave, or the summer before that...or the summer before that.

Nobody remembers the March 1989 heat wave in Los Angeles. The San Fernando valley got up to 113 in late March 1989. Global warming? nah.....just a weird weather pattern that sneaked in.

If it happens again though....can you imagine the Global Warming panic that will ensue? OMG! we haven't seen temperatures like that since....1989...and then 1969 before that and then 1949 before that...etc....
