Shooter killed after 3 injured at U.S. Border Patrol building in Texas

- A shooting occurred Monday morning at a U.S. Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas.
- The shooter, identified as 27-year-old Ryan Louis Mosqueda, fired dozens of rounds toward the facility.
- Border Patrol agents and local police returned fire, killing the shooter.
- Three people were injured: two officers and one Border Patrol employee—one sustained a knee injury.
- Mosqueda had a Michigan address and drove a Michigan-tagged vehicle.
- Incident took place at the entrance of the Border Patrol sector annex near the U.S.–Mexico border.
- It follows a separate shooting incident at an immigration detention center in Alvarado just days earlier.
