I'm fed up with all these reviews on X2! What did they expect? I mean they didn't do a good research on this technology. As it is 33.6 upload and 53 download (so far) nobody could have expected 50k+!.

Let's see (given that 1/4 of the data is uploaded):

0,75*53k + 0,25*33.6 = 48k!
0,75*56k + 0,25*33.6 = ~50k

So, USRX never claimed that the overall rate would be much about 50k on 56k (and logically 48 for the limited 53k).

If 48k is the max. to expect "not much past 46k" is damn good IMHO!

These articles aren't worth a penny...(C/Net etc.). It's just the try to hype X2 down.

Let's keep the facts straight,

P.S. There isn't any ISP in Germany at the moment offering 56k, but I'd be very, very glad to connect by 45k+!!! (The backbone in Germany is so bad that you can't even expect 28k by now). 40$ to get 45k+ is worth it!
