I noticed that you mentioned several times that Bin Laden is an enemy, but you don't emphesize it. On many occasions, you talk in terms of appeasment (namely of Palestinian terrorists), so it is understandable for Tench. to assume that you would extend this appeasement to Bin Laden. I think it is an honest misunderstanding.

Joe, I would agree with you had I not said repeatedly on this thread for months that we need to go after bin Laden and put him down. Just so that its clear....I don't have one approach to all problems. And Ten knows my feelings about bin Laden but I have found that Bush supporters don't want to hear that from a "liberal" because they might have to listen to the rest of the argument.......the parts they don't like hearing.

As for the Palestinians, I have never suggested that we should appease the Palestinian terrorists but rather that we should help the Palestinians get their independent state as was first proposed 70 years ago by the UN.

However, I now know why Sharon is having trouble letting go..........he wants the water under the West Bank. Its disgusting.......the Israelis have used up their water allotment and can't convert enough salt water to potable water so they drool over the WB acquifers.

But of course, this is okay. The Israelis are the good guys......right?
