MACs crashed all over the place - but the Apple crowd denied this - but believe me - before OS X - they were no more stable than a Windows system. Further, Apple had a zillion OS releases - they had to use THREE digits. And with every new release, older hardware just got left in the dust bin - and couldn't support the new software. OS X may be the equivalent of Windows 2000 in stability - but it cannot be run on a lot of MACs that are not too old. Paul
