I think amzn has regional distribution centers though. IT has warehouses all over the USA anyway, and even though those stock different things, you can still set aside a portion of the space in *all* warehouses to handle the DVDs. So they probably have the entire country covered.

I don't know how to check where amzn warehouses are, but they were acquired in the late 90s
