see? unbullish information is generally irrelevant. there's an interesting to and fro between the cyclical inflationary and the secular deflationary forces going on...industrial metals seem poised to add to their gains due to plunging inventories, and even ag commodities are doing a dead cat bounce. i think deflation will take over again when the debt pyramid finally becomes unsustainable. in the meantime many basic materials seem to experience supply bottlenecks - don't forget, no capacities have been added there for years. the overcapacities are mainly found in the later stages of production. that should make for a nice margin squeeze for all sorts of irrelevant companies.
