Because of the impending U.S. war with Iraq, I would think that no American should travel to the ME now. But I am an Asian dude, and I am not American so it should be OK for me unless the war really brakes out.

However, on the National Geographic web site they still have some of the very interesting tours to the ME offering. You have to keep in mind that they are explorer by nature though. :o)
