Anti-globalists? A manifestation (demonstration) has always been a regular occurrence in France. Class struggle in France is like eating or breathing - everyone does it, even if they won't admit it. Myself and citizens of France don't like les Rue Payage when the Autobahn is free in Germany. People who live in the countryside of Europe and need to drive long distances don't like people in big cities like Paris and Stockholm pushing up diesel fuel costs well above petrol, especially after the shift to diesel cars was government subsidized. Living in France is not conducive to being happy, and being Catholic makes the French even more miserable. Some people say the Voice of America is a propaganda outlet. I think I agree in this case. Trump appointees are erroneously viewing Europe through Trump-lenses. They'll all be in prison soon enough. We were eating dinner in our favorite cafe, Le Capitole, in Juan les Pins and the waitress asked an older frequent customer how her dinner was. She replied, "On Manger" - "One must eat." . . .
