08:34 ET Semi Equipment : More negative comments on semi equipment sector, this time from CSFB and UBS Warburg; CSFB lowers 2001 capex to a 30-35% decline from 20-25% and notes that even after bookings bottom, the lack of robust product cycles will weigh on 2H01 demand for capital equipment -- does not see meaningful uptick until late in the first half of 2002. CSFB says current valuations are 30% above trough valuations. UBS projecting similar declines for 2001, and sees only a 10% sequential increase by Q4 of 2001, and does not expect a "V" recovery
