Great fine Alex: especially the unknown about 401 k's wonder which will win out fear of paltry standard of living at retirement or fear of the market..(which is the greater source of pain?) veteran market analysts appear to cite history that over the very long term, stocks beat all other investments...and cite history in the difficulty in timing the market(unless there is some glaring safe haven that provides an adequate alternative) If Asia recovers without some nuclear war breaking out..think of all the potential consumers. really interesting puzzle
