Lower oil costs will take a while to work its way through the system, particularly refined fuels where lack of capacity is as much a part of the pricing problem here as is oil.

Meanwhile, oil is parabolic on the monthly charts and getting to extreme values on the weekly charts but merely in a strong trend on the daily.

Could end any day... but it has not yet.

I note a number of oil stocks setting up for a sell off here -- if they lead the commodity, which so often happens - perhaps the speculation will end soon.

Until the next energy shock. Not if, but when.
