Eric, the bottom line is that electricity is just as expensive as gas. Charging my own plug-in hybrid no longer saves me money. I could just run it in hybrid gas-electric mode and pay just as much per mile as I would in full electric mode. And that's even counting the fact that California gas prices are some of the most expensive in the nation. "Handsome" Newsom won't do anything to fix that, though. He's too busy trolling Trump and trying to become president. I'm going to write a post in the near future that brings up a theme that Democrats should run on, namely the Affordability Crisis.
